FREC logoWho is the Facilitating Racial Equity Collaborative?

The Facilitating Racial Equity Collaborative (FREC) is a loose collective of organizations committed to overcoming racism in Minnesota. We collaborated to organize the Overcoming Racism: Why IS It So Hard? conference November 6-7, 2009.

You or your organization can be part of this work! Last year’s Overcoming Racism conference was a resounding success. The Facilitating Racial Equity Collaborative will be holding the  conference again in 2010.  The kick-off planning meeting will take place on February 16, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at William Mitchell College of Law (Room 219) and will be facilitated by Rowzat Shipchandler and Barb Rose. We will be starting the meeting at 9:00, so please try your best to be there by then.
